Child Safety Standards

Kindryn prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) without exception. This page sets out those standards, how to report a violation, and what happens when one is reported. It applies to every member, every community space, and every form of content or communication on the Service.

1. What is prohibited

The following are banned outright and are grounds for immediate, permanent removal:

Child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any image, video, audio, text, or generated media depicting the sexual abuse or exploitation of a minor — including computer-generated, drawn, or AI-produced material.
Sexualization of minors. Content that depicts, describes, or presents a person under 18 in a sexualized manner, whatever the format or claimed intent.
Grooming and solicitation. Contacting or attempting to contact a minor for sexual purposes, including building trust toward later abuse.
Sextortion. Threatening to expose intimate imagery of a minor to coerce money, further imagery, or any other act.
Trafficking and facilitation. Advertising, recruiting for, or otherwise facilitating the sexual exploitation of a minor.
Linking or signposting. Sharing links, file locations, contact details, or coded terms that lead to any of the above, whether or not the material is hosted here.

Intent is not a defence, and neither is claiming the material is fictional, artistic, or satirical. There is no warning step for this category.

2. Age requirement

The Service is not intended for children. Members must be at least 16 years old, or older where local law requires it. Accounts believed to belong to a child under that age are removed. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if you believe a child has created an account, report it using the contact below and it will be handled as a priority.

3. How to report

Anyone can report — you do not need an account, and you do not need to be a member of the community involved.

In the app. Use the report control on any post, comment, message, or profile. Reports go straight to the moderation queue.
By email. Write to the contact address published on the homepage or in your account settings. Include a link or enough detail to locate the content.

Do not download, copy, or forward suspected CSAM in order to report it. Possessing or transmitting it is a criminal offence in most jurisdictions even when the intent is to report. A link or description is enough.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. Reporting here is not a substitute for contacting law enforcement.

4. How reports are handled

Priority triage. CSAE reports are escalated ahead of the normal moderation queue and are not subject to the standard owner response window that applies to other content reports.
Immediate removal. Content assessed as violating is removed and the account suspended without prior notice. The two-strike process used for other policy violations does not apply here — the first violation is the last.
Preservation. Relevant records are preserved as required for reporting to the appropriate authorities, even after the content is removed from view.
No reinstatement path. Accounts removed under this policy are not eligible for the ordinary appeal route.

5. Reporting to authorities

Apparent child sexual abuse material is reported to the relevant national authority — in the United States, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via its CyberTipline — and to law enforcement where required by applicable law. We cooperate with lawful requests from those authorities in connection with such reports.

6. Prevention

Communities are private by default; content is not publicly indexed unless an owner opts in.
Member reporting controls are available on every surface that carries user content.
Moderation tooling lets community staff remove content and suspend members directly.
These standards are published, applied consistently, and reviewed as the Service changes.
